The aim of the register	AKM aims to provide information on the occupation and employment status the population chargeable with tax. The register is formed on the basis of reports from companies and public payroll systems and by an automated process by which each person is assigned occupation and position codes based on information from a wide range of registers, e.g. the Salary Information Register (COR) and the Central Taxpayers’ Register (CSR).
